Company Introduction
Bestco Food Mart is a leading Asian Grocery Supermarket in the GTA area. We currently have two major retail locations, one in Scarborough and one in north Etobicoke/Rexdale.
Major Responsibilities
Provide good service to our customers by building rapport, fulfilling their requests and providing fast and accurate checkout service
Create a good customer experience via delivering fast and accurate checkout service, prevent possible fraud (PLU # input, scan merchandise, transaction discrepancies, identify counterfeit/fake cards)
Greet customers by providing good customer service with smiles and friendly enthusiasm
Record totals of transactions and calculate total payments received during a time period accurately
Monitor checkout stations to ensure that they are well-kept and are working appropriately; maintain checkout area cleanliness
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements
Demonstrate job commitment, accountable, reliable
A good team player, able to collaborate with and assist other colleagues
Possess a positive, proactive, self-motivated work attitude
The good attendance record, comply with company’s rules and regulations
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
Able to stand for a long time and use work-related tools in a safe manner
Good communication skills, able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) are an asset
Knowledge of basic work safety, Canadian currencies and essential mathematics
Relevant experience in handling cash is preferred

主要职责
熟悉产品价格，为顾客提供快速准确的收银及打包商品服务
保持收银区域干净整洁，妥善维护收银设备
了解熟悉店内全部产品以及促销活动等，热情友善的为顾客解释促销活动说明等
仔细工作确保收银环节准确无误
完成主管安排的其他事务
配合主管处理退货及换货; 控制损耗及检查报废物品
执行其他上级委派的任务

热情大方的工作态度，有良好的客户服务意识，积极主动，有责任心
良好沟通能力, 能以国语/粤语/英文沟通为佳；具备团队合作精神
气质形象佳，做事有责任心，诚实可靠
可以适应公司的轮班工作安排
