Company Introduction
Bestco Food Mart is a leading Asian Grocery Supermarket in the GTA area. We currently have two major retail locations, one in Scarborough and one in north Etobicoke/Rexdale.
Major Responsibilities
Maintain inventory and product quality, follow FIFO concept, if applicable; ensure full display of various seafood products
Follow procedures to process expired products and manage shrinkage
Prepare various seafood products for sales activities, including but not limited to catch, gut, descale, cut, wash, pack and label various seafood products and display them in the display coolers
Greet customers by providing good customer service with a smile, friendly enthusiasm
Assist customers in selecting seafood products and provide recommendations to them, as required
Maintain workplace cleanliness, wash relevant work areas and fish tanks, and ensure working tools are clean and well-kept
Keep storage area, display cases and walk-in coolers clean and tidy
Requirements
Demonstrate job commitment, accountable, reliable
A good team player, able to collaborate with and assist other colleagues
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
Able to use seafood cutters and other tools in a safe manner
Be prepared to stand a long time and to hands-on dealing with seafood products (live & frozen) and lifting of products of 40 pounds on a regular basis
Be prepared to work in low temperature (0-4℃), freezing temperature (-18℃), and wet environment for a long time
Not allergic to seafood and seafood products
Knowledge of basic work safety
Relevant experience in handling seafood products is preferred

主要工作职责
熟悉本部门产品及摆放位置，了解部门内部的促销内容，积极配合主管完成每周促销活动
库存管理，检查海鲜等产品的新鲜度，保持货架上的产品摆放美观
按照部门要求处理各种产品，包括但不仅限于：捕捞，开膛，刮鳞，切割及打包
协助顾客选购各种海鲜产品，耐心友善的回答顾客的问题
负责部分工作场地的清洁工作，确保工作台及货架干净整齐
完成主管安排的其他事务
